Maldives and Georgia reaffirm continued cooperation

The Maldives and Georgia have held discussions to reaffirm their continued cooperation. The discussions took place during a telephone call between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives Abdulla Shahid and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili.

During the telephone call, Minister Shahid and Minister Darchiashvili reaffirmed their continued cooperation and collaboration in advancing interests on areas of mutual concern both bilaterally, and in the multilateral fora.

During the discussions, both ministers also expressed hope that the enduring relations between the two countries would grow stronger in the years to come.
