Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has found no wrongdoing after investigating Judge Adam Ibrahim Ismail regarding a complaint submitted over a disciplinary issue.
JSC began the investigation in December 2021 after a complaint was filed alleging that Judge Adam was negligent in his duties. The commission cleared the judge on February 15.
Furthermore, JSC has appointed Chief Magistrate of the Hirilandhoo Magistrate Court Abdulla Hussain as the new Chief Magistrate of the Kinbidhoo Magistrate Court. The appointment was made under the guidelines established to transfer judges to another court and appoint them to a position corresponding to their rank upon their request.
