Fenaka Corporation Limited has been contracted to upgrade the sewerage system in the new residential area in the Thundi ward of Gan, Laamu Atoll.
The agreement was signed by the Managing Director of Fenaka Ahmed Saeed Mohamed and Shaana Farooq, the Director General at the Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure. Fenaka is tasked with upgrading the sewerage system within one year and eight months at a cost of USD1.7 million.
The planning ministry stated the existing utility services at the new residential area will be overhauled to provide better services to the residents.
