President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have concluded their official two-day visit to Alifushi, Raa Atoll.
During their visit, President Solih and First Lady Fazna attended the official function to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities for 2022. Addressing the function, President Solih underlined his administration’s efforts to promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities and mobilise support for their dignity, rights, and well-being. First Lady Fazna also officially launched the National Disability Registry (NDR) digital portal.
Furthermore, President Solih and First Lady Fazna inaugurated the new multi-purpose hall built at the island’s school. President Solih also met with members of the Raa Atoll Council as well as the Alifushi Island Council and the Women’s Development Committee (WDC).
