The Ministry of Tourism has requested tourist establishments to provide the latest news and information regarding the operations for the weekly Maldives Tourism Update reports.
The Maldives Tourism Update report currently shows weekly tourist arrival numbers and information on government projects. The ministry opened the opportunity for tourist establishments to provide their information to include in the report.
The ministry is seeking information on changes and developments being made at tourism establishments, and environmental programmes being conducted by the businesses. The ministry is also seeking information on workers in the tourism industry, specifically on the process of training workers and giving them awards, as well as initiatives to appoint Maldivians to senior positions in the tourism industry.
