Gov't hires contractors to expand three schools

The Ministry of Education has hired contractors to construct extension buildings in three schools.

The education ministry contracted Oslo Investment Private Limited to construct an office and one classroom in Fulhadhoo School, Baa Atoll, within 95 days at a cost of USD162,000. The contract was signed by Managing Director Ibrahim Abdulla.

Furthermore, Nooraddeen Investment Private Limited has been contracted to build 12 classrooms in Nooraannee School in Hithadhoo, Addu City, within one year at a cost USD805,000. The contract was signed by Managing Director Ali Nooraddeen.

Meanwhile, Wave Length Private Limited has been contracted to build a multipurpose hall in Finey School, Haa Dhaalu Atoll, within one year at a cost of USD811,000. The contract was signed by Director Mohamed Fazeel.

The projects are financed under the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP) budget for 2021. The contracts were signed by Policy Director Naushad Ibrahim on behalf of the education ministry.
