Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has published the temporary list of applicants that are eligible for the Vinares flats in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
HDC opened applications for the Vinares flats on July 18 until September 15. HDC revealed that 1,413 applications were received for the sale of apartments by the end of the period. The applications have been split into two categories, which are applicants who have lived in the Greater Male’ Region for at least 15 years and those who have been registered in Male’ for at least 15 years.
The temporary list shows that those who are eligible consist of 475 out of 1,118 applicants who have been living in Male’ for 15 years and 248 of the 295 applicants who have been registered in Male’ for 15 years. HDC plans to contact eligible applicants to obtain information on their financial status and requires main applicants to continue with one form in cases where the co-applicant submitted a second form.
The Vinares housing project involves the construction of 10 towers with 1,344 housing units, all of which are three-room apartments. All major construction work has been completed while the interior finishing works are nearing completion.
The Vinares flats are developed in four concepts: 172 marina view flats, 372 outer view flats, 352 inner view flats, and 448 standard view flats. The marina view apartments have a view of the yacht marina and cruise terminal, while inner view apartments have a view of the main roads. The outside view is of the city, and standard apartments are in the middle of the towers.
