Anas appointed as MDP spokesperson

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has appointed Anas Abdul Sattar as its spokesperson.

Anas Abdul Sattar will be replacing Parliamentarian Imthiyaz Fahmy as the spokesperson. Anas previously served as the President of the MDP Council of Appellant Judges and as the Secretary-General of MDP from 2015 to 2020. He also ran for the Mayor of Male’ City in the last local council election. He attained his Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) in Shariah and Law from the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan.

MDP is undergoing major changes since the election of Minister of Economic Development Fayyaz Ismail as its Chairperson.
