ACC forms policy on prioritising cases

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has formed the policy on prioritising cases submitted to the commission for investigation.

As per the policy, a special priority will be allocated to cases where irreversible damages can be incurred on the state if investigation is not completed before a certain time, and cases which are directly linked to the public. In addition, cases where destruction of evidence is a possibility is also allocated a special priority.

ACC stated the aim of the policy is to ensure a fair investigation process for all cases, and accountability.
