Cafes, restaurants allowed to operate until 0300hrs during Ramadan

Ministry of Economic Development has stated cafes and restaurants will be allowed to operate until 0300hrs during the month of Ramadan.

Cafes and restaurants will be allowed to operate between 1730hrs and 0300hrs every day during the month of Ramadan, as per the announcement by the economic ministry. During the first seven days of Shawwal, cafes and restaurants will be allowed to operate from 0430hrs until 0300hrs.

Furthermore, the economic ministry stated shops will be allowed to operate from 0530hrs until 0100hrs during Ramadan. The changes to the operating hours of shops will be in effect starting from March 20 and will last until the end of the first seven days of Shawwal.

The first day of Ramadan falls on April 2 this year. During Ramadan, shops, cafes, and restaurants are required to follow the operational guidelines set by the economic ministry for the holy month.
