STO Supermart to be expanded ahead of Ramadan

State Trading Organisation (STO) has announced plans to expand its People’s Choice Supermart ahead of the month of Ramadan.

Speaking on preparations for Ramadan, Managing Director of STO Hussain Amr said the company plans to expand the Supermart to provide more spaces for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). He added the expanded Supermart is expected to open during March.

With Ramadan less than two months away, STO is undertaking preparations to cope with the increased demand food and other items during the holy month. As such, STO said it is undertaking efforts to keep prices of items on demand such as perishables in the same price range during Ramadan.
