Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has begun a judicial performance evaluation survey for lawyers and court staff.
The survey is being conducted to collect information and determine the performance of judges. JSC aims to survey lawyers and court staff to obtain their opinions of 29 judges working in the judicial sector. It aims to collect information on the performance of judges in the Civil Court, Family Court, Drug Court, Juvenile Court, and the Criminal Court.
JSC has requested lawyers and court staff to evaluate the judges and fill the survey forms by answering the written questions and submitting them via email. It stated the survey is anonymous and evaluators will not be required to identify their names.
