Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund for the final phase of the year.
The Community Fund is open for individuals and registered non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. BML will be selecting the best five proposals and the winning projects in the areas of education, environment, sports and community engagement will receive USD 3,000 to implement the project.
The bank stated applicants can send proposals with supporting documents before 1200hrs on November 30 and can visit its website for more information.
The Community Fund is a programme to empower individuals and NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. BML stated it has provided financial assistance for 55 projects across the country under Community Fund.
