Vaavu Atoll Council inaugurates logo and service charter

Vaavu Atoll Council has officially inaugurated its own logo and service charter, as part of efforts to modernise the operations of the council.

The logo and service charter were inaugurated during a special ceremony held at the Secretariat of Vaavu Atoll Council on November 11. The ceremony was officiated by Vice President of Vaavu Atoll Council, Mohamed Imthiyaz. The logo and service charter were officially inaugurated by Parliamentarian Hussain Gasim.

As part of the changes brought to modernise the operations of the council, the new document templates as well as products to display the corporate image of the atoll council were launched during the ceremony. In this regard, the corporate uniform and service cards of council staff were inaugurated.

Furthermore, the service charter launched by Vaavu Atoll Council includes the standards of services to be provided by the council and the standard operational procedure to be followed when administering the services. The charter was presented at the ceremony by Council Executive Abdul Majeed Abdul Ghani.

The ceremony was attended by presidents and members of island councils in Vaavu Atoll, as well as senior officials of government institutions in the atoll.
