Air Astana has resumed direct flights from Almaty to Velana International Airport (VIA).
Air Astana is scheduled to operate 4 weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays on Airbus 321LR and Boeing 767.
Air Astana has launched flights to the Maldives on December 5, 2020, and operated until May 24, 2021, before suspension due to government restrictions.
In total17,714 tourists have arrived from Kazakhstan to the Maldives, which is ranked ninth in arrivals to the country, according to statistics of the Ministry of Tourism.
