Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has signed an agreement with Villa Hakatha Private Limited for the development and operation of a self-service fuel station and automated car wash facility in Hulhumalè Phase 2. The agreement was signed by Managing Director of HDC Ahmed Suhail and Deputy Managing Director Ismail Siyan.
As part of the agreement, Villa Hakathi is tasked with developing the facility within nine months from the land handover date. HDC has agreed to hand over 7,000 square feet of land for the development of the facility as well as 10,000 square feet of land for the development of a garage.
Villa Hakatha is a key player in the vital process of importing and trading diesel, lubricants, gas and numerous other essentials for life in the Maldives. Villa Hakatha currently operates fuel sheds in Male' City and Hulhumale' and also operates fuel services in Thulafushi.
