Three forums to be held during Expo 2020 in Dubai

Consultant Trading Investment Maldives has revealed three investment forums will be held during Expo 2020.

Expo 2020 is scheduled to be held in Dubai from October 1 for a period of 6 months. Speaking to PSM News, Uzma Abdul Latheef from Consultant Trading Investment said the first forum will be held by My Investment. Uzma added President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will address the forum. She revealed a panel discussion on the investment opportunities available in the Maldives will be held during the forum, which will be attended by four cabinet ministers. She noted they will speak majorly about the investment environment of the Maldives and the opportunities available which will focus on new prospective products that can be launched in the country by investors.

Uzma also noted the challenges and advantages that will be shared in the platform, in addition to the policy-level works done by the government to strengthen investments. She added the panel discussion is an interactive session where the audience can question the panelists.

My investment forum, attended by 126 countries, is scheduled to be held on October 26. Another forum focusing on the tourism sector will also be held as part of Expo 2020. As such, the tourism forum is scheduled to be held on January 12 and will be attended by the Minister of Tourism Dr. Abdulla Mausoom, other cabinet ministers, and corporate leaders.

The third forum scheduled is a Real Estate forum organised by Housing Development Corporation (HDC), which is scheduled to be held on February 24.
