VP holds discussions with staff at Fiyavathi state care facility

Vice President Faisal Naseem has held discussions with the staff at the Fiyavathi State Care Facility in Hulhumalé.

During the visit, Vice President Naseem toured the premises, held discussions with the staff, and met with children under state care at the facility. He also enquired about the facility and services offered and listened to the concerns and issues raised by the children.

The vice president was accompanied by Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali, Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services Aishath Mohamed Didi, and Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla.

The President's Office stated a team from the gender ministry and the Child and Family Protection Services is currently working towards resolving the issues and looking into the recent occurrences at the facility. State entities are currently involved in providing the necessary care for the children.
