Sri Lankan Airlines has decided to begin scheduled flights to Gan International Airport in Addu City in November.
The general sales agent of Sri Lankan Airlines in the Maldives, Ace Aviation Private Limited, revealed Sri Lankan Airlines will begin operating scheduled flights to Gan from November 2 onwards. Ace Aviation revealed connections are available for most Middle Eastern countries through the flights from Gan.
Sri Lankan Airlines had previously operated scheduled flights between Gan and Colombo, allowing residents of Addu to travel abroad without going to Male’. However, the flights were suspended following the COVID-19 pandemic.
