President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has assigned Ibrahim Hood as the Secretary of Foreign Relations Office at the President's Office.
Hood is currently serving as the head of the Communications Office at the President's Office. He will continue to serve as the head of the Communications Office, along with his new role as the Foreign Relations Secretary.
Hood graduated from the Australian National University with a Master of Arts in International Relations. He has close to 16-years of experience in senior positions of the government, including the President's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He had also worked in NGOs and the private sectors. Before serving as head of the Communications Office, he also served as the President's Spokesperson.
