BML opens applications for its community fund programme

Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund for the third quarter of the year. The Community Fund is open for individuals and registered non-governmental organisations.

The best 5 proposals submitted will be selected during the third quarter of the year and the selected projects from the areas of education, environment, sports, and community engagement will receive USD 3,250 to implement their project, stated the national bank. They have asked applicants to send the proposal and application form and other relevant documents before September 11.

The Community Fund is a programme to empower individuals and non-governmental organisations to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects.

BML has provided financial assistance for 50 projects in islands across the country under its Community Fund.
