Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated the remarkable achievement in the O'Level examinations demonstrates the immense work done by schools despite the unfavourable situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. He made the remarks while speaking during a visit to Muhyiddin School.
During the visit, Vice President Naseem appreciated the efforts of the schools to continue classes without interruption even during the lockdown and severe restriction of movements due to COVID-19. He said the remarkable achievement in the O'Level examinations shows the efforts by the schools altogether. The main aim of the visit to schools is to determine the work done by schools, to meet with the management, staff, and students of the schools, he added, noting such visits give the administration the opportunity to identify the issues faced by the schools and students.
During the visit to Muhyiddin School, the vice president was accompanied by Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali.
Concluding the visit to the school, the vice president also visited the Villimale' Hospital and Villimale' Ferry Terminal along with the CEO of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) Adam Azim.
