Immigration's visa division relocated to former star cinema building

Maldives Immigration has announced its Visa Division has been relocated to the 8th floor of the Star Cloud building.

Immigration stated the purpose of the relocation is to serve its customers with an improved office environment and that all the visa services will be provided from the new office building from August 1.

Visa services are now online, and that customers can apply for all types of visas, including business visa, special visa, marriage visa, student visa, and dependent visa as well as sponsorship declarations via the IMUGA portal, also stated Immigration. However, Immigration stated the work visa service is provided through the Xpat Online System and that an online appointment is issued to submit the passports for issuing visas when the application is processed.

Immigration added customers will be notified when passports are ready for collection and another appointment will be issued again for passport collection.

Besides Male' City, visa services are also being provided at Addu City, Fuvahmulah City and Kulhudhuffushi City.
