Air India has resumed flight operations to the Maldives.
Air India resumed operations to the Maldives after the government eased the restrictions that had been placed for tourists from South Asian countries due to COVID-19. Air India is set to operate four flights per week to the Maldives, including two flights from Delhi through Mumbai and two flights from Bangalore through Trivandrum.
India is one of the main contributors of tourists to the Maldives. In addition to Air India, three more airlines from India are currently operating flights to the Maldives. This includes Go Air, SpiceJet and IndiGo.
