President and First Lady conclude three-day trip to Haa Dhaalu atoll

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have returned to Male' City after concluding their trip to Haa Dhaalu Atoll. During the three-day trip to Haa Dhaalu Atoll, the first couple visited Kulhudhuffushi City, Kumundhoo and Hanimaadhoo.

President Solih and First Lady Fazna first visited Kulhudhuffushi City and toured the landmarks and held meetings with the city's leaders. As such, President Solih held meetings with the Haa Dhaalu Atoll Council, the Kulhudhuffushi City Council, the Women's Development Committee (WDC), heads of educational institutions and Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital, as well as senior officers at Kulhudhuffushi Police Station. First Lady Fazna also held various meetings with stakeholders in Kulhudhuffushi during the visit, including with members of the Kulhudhuffushi WDC.

President Solih and First Lady Fazna next visited Kumundhoo, where the president met with members of the Kumundhoo Island Council and the WDC.

In their last stop in Hanimaadhoo, President Solih held discussions with members of the Hanimaadhoo Island Council and the WDC. He also inaugurated the construction phase of the road development project on the island and examined the progress of ongoing government projects. First Lady Fazna met with the Hanimaadhoo WDC before concluding the trip.

Cabinet ministers and senior government officials accompanied President Solih and First Lady Fazna on the trip.
