President and First Lady conclude unofficial visit to Dubai

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have arrived back in Male’, on conclusion of their unofficial visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The president and first lady travelled to Dubai to attend the burial of the president’s brother Ahmed Mohamed Solih, who passed away at the age of 55 while undergoing treatment following a heart attack. The president and first lady were accompanied by some family members during the trip to Dubai.

Upon conclusion of the trip, the president and first lady returned to Male’ on June 23.
