Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has revealed it has conducted 58 marketing activities over the past two months.
Despite the global pandemic, MMPRC has worked tirelessly to promote the Maldives as a tourism destination. As such, MMPRC revealed it has conducted 58 marketing activities in the past two months which includes participating in international fairs, holding marketing campaigns and several virtual events focused on 22 key markets across the globe.
The activities were designed and executed with the primary aim of maintaining brand strength, promoting the Maldives as a safe haven for travellers, and ultimately increasing arrival figures to pre-pandemic levels. The activities held in the past two months include participating in six fairs, global marketing campaigns with Skyscanner, Trip Advisor and Expedia, several webinars in different markets, two familiarisation trips, two roadshows, several digital media campaigns on Visit Maldives official social media accounts and other smaller marketing campaigns on various platforms, according to the MMPRC.
