Ministry of Tourism has requested to establish means to provide essential travel facilities in Male' City.
Minister of Tourism Dr. Abdullah Mausoom requested Male' City Council to arrange the required facilities in Male' for tourists visiting the capital city. The minister said tourists arriving to tour Male' require washrooms and places to rest and shelter in case of rain, revealing he has requested to arrange such means as early as possible. A harbour will soon be made available in Male' for tourists to ease disembarking from their yachts, said the minister.
A large number of tourists visit Greater Male' Region to tour and to visit historic sites in the capital city. Previously, a project was conducted to develop the Fishermen's Park with essential travel facilities for tourists.
