The President’s Office has extended the applications deadline for the position of Auditor General.
The President’s Office announced the new deadline to submit applications closes at 1230hrs on June 16, 2021. Interested parties are required to submit their applications, along with all the relevant documents, to the President’s Office from 1000hrs to 1230hrs on June 15 and June 16. Application forms are available from the President’s Office reception and could be downloaded from the website of the President’s Office.
This position of Auditor General was opened for application following the resignation of Hassan Ziyath from the position on May 13. Ziyath resigned after his name was revealed in the list of suspected beneficiaries in the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) corruption scandal.
