Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund.
The Community Fund is open for individuals and registered non-governmental organisations. Selected projects in the areas of education, environment, sports and community engagement will receive USD 3,250 to implement their project. The best five proposals submitted will be selected for the second phase of the year. BML has asked applicants to send the proposal and application form and other relevant documents before June 12.
The Community Fund is a programme to empower individuals and non-governmental organisations to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. BML has provided financial assistance for projects in 45 islands across the country under its Community Fund.
