Ooredoo records USD 29 million in revenue in the first quarter of 2021

Telecommunications company Ooredoo Maldives has recorded USD 29 million in revenue in the first quarter of 2021.

According to the quarterly report, Ooredoo recorded an increase of USD 2.9 million in revenue compared to the previous quarter. The report shows Ooredoo received USD 22 million in revenue from the its mobile services, and USD 6 million from fixed broadband and enterprise services. Ooredoo had received USD 26 million in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Furthermore, the company received a profit of USD 7.9 million in the first quarter of 2021, which is an increase compared to the USD 6.8 million in profit received in the previous quarter. The company's operating cost for the first quarter of this year was USD 14.6 million while the operating cost for the previous quarter was USD 14.5 million.
