Tourism Minister elected to PATA Executive Board

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has elected Minister of Tourism Dr. Abdulla Mausoom to its Executive Board.

PATA elected Dr. Mausoom to its Executive Board in an online vote. He was elected for a term of two years commencing from April 29, 2021.

PATA is a non-profit membership-based association that acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region. Government of the Maldives and tourism entities work with PATA, participating in its events to sustainably overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and to promote the tourism industry. As such, relevant webinars held to showcase the Maldivian tourism are noteworthy.
