MIFCO reduces price of diesel sold to fishing vessels

Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) has reduced prices of diesel sold to fishing vessels.

MIFCO said a litre of diesel for fishing vessels will be sold for USD 0.58, marking a decrease of USD 0.037. However, the price of diesel for the general public remains unchanged. A litre will be sold for USD 0.72 for the general public.

MIFCO said it receives diesel at a lower price from State Trading Organisation (STO), due to global price fluctuations, which resulted in the current changes in price.
