MPL meets importers to discuss the issues related to ports

Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) conducts a virtual meeting with several local importers to discuss issues related to services at the port.

MPL stated the aim of the discussion was to identify the main challenges faced by importers when using the ports and to provide solutions for the problems. MPL said more than 20 importers attended the meeting and shared their concerns regarding port services.

MPL revealed the company will be conducting a series of similar meetings in order to actively resolve the issues faced by importers. MPL noted the company had also conducted similar meetings with shipping agents to identify their concerns regarding the ports.
