Austrian Airlines to increase frequency of flights to the Maldives during winter season

Austrian Airlines has announced the decision to increase the frequency of its flights to the Maldives during Europe’s winter season.

Austrian Airlines commenced flight operations to the Maldives on October 25, 2020. The airline currently conducts two flights per week between Vienna and Male’. The airline revealed it will be increasing its operations to three flights per week during the winter season.

Several international airlines have commenced operations to the Maldives since the reopening of borders in July last year. As per the statistics of the Ministry of Tourism, over 30 airlines are currently operating international flights to the Maldives.
