GoAir begins direct flights between Hyderabad and Male’

GoAir begins direct flight operations between Hyderabad, India and Velana International Airport (VIA) in the Maldives.

GoAir revealed the flights between Hyderabad and Male’ will be operated four times a week. GoAir said the general sales agent for the new flight operations would be Voyages Maldives.

GoAir is also currently operating flights to the Maldives from New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Flights from Mumbai are operated every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, while flights from New Delhi are operated every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Meanwhile, flights from Bengaluru are operated every day of the week.

India was one of the main contributors of tourists to the Maldives last year. 11.3% of all tourist arrivals recorded last year were from India. India is currently second on the list of most tourist arrivals to the Maldives this year, behind only Russia.
