Maafushi, Kaafu Atoll has been listed as one of the most in-demand travel destinations on the online accommodation booking platform, Airbnb for the upcoming year.
Airbnb has published a list of destinations which are most frequently inquired on by individuals looking to travel in 2021. Maafushi was included in the list, which also includes Seoul, South Korea; Bogota, Colombia and Tisbury in Massachusetts, US.
Maafushi is one of the leading islands in the local tourism sector of the Maldives. As such, the island has several guesthouses for tourists as well as locals looking to travel for their vacation.
