Qatar Airways has decided to increase scheduled flights to the Maldives.
Qatar Airways announced the airline will operate three scheduled flights between Doha and Male’, starting from December. The airline revealed the flights will be operated on two Boeing 300-777 planes and one Boeing 787 plane.
Qatar Airways decided to increase its scheduled flights to the Maldives after establishing a travel bubble with the Maldives and introducing its packages. The airline said those travelling within the travel bubble will not be required to undergo quarantine after returning to Doha.
14 international airlines have resumed operations to the Maldives since the country reopened its borders in July. Ministry of Tourism revealed a further 10 airlines have decided to resume operations to the Maldives before the end of December. This includes Alitalia, Air France, Ukraine International Airlines and Gulf Air, among others.
