Local media outlets to begin a COVID-19 awareness campaign

Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC) has stated the local online news websites, television channels, radio and new media have decided to run a campaign to aware the public on COVID-19 pandemic.

HEOC stated the different media outlets wanted to play a role in containing the spread of the virus in the capital, and as such, met with HEOC to formulate a plan to run the campaign. HEOC says the campaign is aimed at providing a more detailed unified and a cohesive information to the public.

HEOC stated all media will collaborate in running the campaign under the advice and assistance of a steering committee.
