Maldives condemns missile and drone attacks towards Saudi Arabia

The government of the Maldives has strongly condemned the ballistic missile and drone attacks towards Saudi Arabia on July 12.

In a statement, the Maldivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the continuation of such attacks exhibits the elevated threat to the stability of the region. The statement also said the attacks indicate the urgent need for constructive engagement by the parties concerned to find peaceful solutions to the conflicts.

Further, the Maldives reaffirmed its solidarity with the brotherly people and the government of Saudi Arabia and reiterated its steadfast commitment to work closely with the international community in the fight against global terrorism.
