The second-largest airline of the UAE, Etihad Airways, has decided to resume flights to 15 destinations including the Maldives from July 16.

Similar to other airlines, the operation of Etihad Airways was also disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in border closures and flight movement restrictions. However, Etihad Airways has decided to add 15 new cities to its flight schedule from July 16 with the improving situation across the globe.

The resumption of flights to new destinations means it will fly to 40 destinations across the globe beginning from July 16. Etihad Airways said all travellers must ensure that they meet the required entry, health and quarantine regulations set by the UAE authorities, and those at their destinations.

Etihad Airways said priority will be given to ensure the safety and health its staff and passengers.
