Immigration enables 24/7 visa requests

Maldives Immigration has enabled requesting for a work visa at any time of the day.

In a tweet, Maldives Immigration said although requests for work visas can be submitted at any time of the day, appointments for passport submission will only be issued when the office is open after the lockdown imposed to curb the COVID-19 is lifted in the Greater Male' Region.

Immigration added the initial visa fee payment for expatriates can also be paid online. With the new addition to the online services provided by Maldives Immigration, all visa fee services have now been made online.

Meanwhile, Immigration has temporarily eased visa fee payments for individuals finding it difficult to make payments during the pandemic.
