Male’ Water and Sewerage Company Limited (MWSC) has resumed customer services in 3 islands, following eased lockdown restrictions in the Maldives.
MWSC suspended customer services across its operation centres in the Maldives after a lockdown was imposed in the Greater Male’ Region following the detection of COVID-19 cases in the capital. However, with the decision to ease some of the lockdown restrictions on May 28, the company has now resumed customer services in Maafushi in Kaafu Atoll, Dhuvaafaru in Raa Atoll and Kulhudhuffushi City.
MWSC stated customer services will be provided in the 3 islands as usual, until further notice from authorities. The company also stated an announcement will be made on resuming services in the Greater Male’ Region when public services resume in the capital.
