Self-financing students abroad requested to register at Higher Education Ministry

Ministry of Higher Education has called on all self-financing students pursuing higher education abroad to register at the ministry.

The higher education ministry said the measure has been taken to ensure prompt and effective communication and decision making following the COVID-19 pandemic. The ministry said students can register online via a registration link on its website.

The ministry currently only keeps records of students pursuing higher education overseas on scholarships and loans granted by the government. The government has decided to offer financial aid to students overseas to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the students.
