State Trading Organisation (STO) has reduced the prices of perishable food items.
STO stated the prices of onion and eggs have been reduced following the arrival of a new shipment of the items. As such, STO announced the price of a sack of onion has been lowered from USD 16.46 to USD 11.29, while, the price of an egg case has been reduced from USD 16.78 to USD 15.49.
STO says the items can be purchased online through eSTOre.mv. The items can be collected from the STO perishables warehouse, located in Male’ Industrial Village. Items will be released from the warehouse between 1100hrs and 1500hrs every day, except Fridays.
STO is also conducting delivery services. STO has requested customers to contact the designated hotline to seek delivery services.
