COVID-19 cases in the Maldives rises to 220

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has revealed the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives has risen to 220. HPA said 4 Maldivians, 1 Bangladeshi, and 1 Pakistani tested positive for COVID-19 on April 26.

National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) said Maldives has 203 active COVID-19 cases, with 17 patients having made full recoveries. The patients undergoing treatment include an 80-year old Maldivian who has been transferred to Dharumavantha Hospital for close monitoring and observation.

NEOC also revealed there are 1,371 individuals in quarantine facilities and 139 individuals in isolation facilities.
