President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed a new president and a new member of the Employment Tribunal.
The newly appointed President of the Employment Tribunal is Amjad Musthafa, who had previously served as the Vice-Chairman and Commissioner of Elections Commission of Maldives. He also served as a Board Director of Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC). He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University (UK) and a Bachelor of Arts in Shari’ah and Law from the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM).
The newly appointed member of the Employment Tribunal is Hassan Ibrahim. He previously served as Head of Department, MBA course coordinator and as a lecturer at the MNU Business School. He also served as Director General at the Prosecutor General Office. He holds a Master's Degree in Management from Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Shari’ah and Law from the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM).
