The administration has begun taking special measures to better the services provided by government offices.
The decision made as per the instructions from the cabinet ministers will initiate surveying of 54 institutions which directly deals with people in providing services. In this regard, a spot audit was done by President's Office for the first time to identify how services are provided from the counters, challenges faced in providing services, why services are not provided efficiently and arrangements made to provide services.
Moreover, the audit revealed further room for improvement with the implementation of technological projects. The specifications of the audit have been shared with the cabinet ministers seeking ideas for improvement.
The President's Office said necessary steps will be taken to improve the services from government offices.
