Indian Judicial Academy provides 200 training opportunities for Maldives

National Judicial Academy (NJA) of India has decided to provide 200 training opportunities for Maldivian judges.

The agreement to grant training opportunities was signed by President of Judicial Service Commission of Maldives (JSC) Hisaan Hussain and Director at NJA Justice (retd.) G. Raghuram. According to JSC, the partnership will provide enhanced opportunities for training and capacity building for Maldivian judges and judicial officers. The agreement aims to provide technical assistance for NJA and JSC, in addition to initiate joint research programmes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hisaan said JSC appreciates the opportunity extended by the academy and highlighted the importance of such opportunities for Maldives. This is the first such agreement signed between the two countries.
