Attorney General Ibrahim Riffath has held discussions with his Indian counterpart K.K. Venugopal on providing training opportunities in India for Maldivians lawyers.
The attorney generals of both countries discussed the close relations of the two countries and the positive developments of collaboration in various sectors. Riffath shared with Venugopal the efforts of the Maldivian administration to reform the legal sector and discussed approaches in which the Indian government can provide assistance for the reform efforts.
The discussions included providing educational and training opportunities in India for Maldivian lawyers.
